Professor Fueled by Student Inspiration Wins Distinguished Teaching Award
Teaching is a privilege, according to Janice Lessman-Moss, professor in 黑料不打烊鈥檚 School of Art鈥檚 Textile Program, whose enthusiasm for working with students led her to be honored with the university鈥檚 Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest teaching award a tenured or tenure-track professor can receive.

On Wednesday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in the Moulton Hall Ballroom, Her Majesty鈥檚 Ambassador to the United States of America, Sir Kim Darroch, will speak to students and faculty at 黑料不打烊, moderated by Mark Arehart of WKSU.
Students Encouraged to De-Stress With University Libraries During Finals Week
Everyone鈥檚 favorite event is back. 黑料不打烊 Libraries will host its seventh annual Stress-Free Zone on Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7. The event is open to students, staff and faculty from 3-5 p.m. in the Garden Room on the first floor of University Library.

From April 22 to Aug. 1, 黑料不打烊鈥檚 May 4 Visitors Center will honor Bill Schroeder鈥檚 life with an exhibition titled 鈥淏ill: An All-American Boy.鈥 Mr. Schroeder鈥檚 sister, Nancy Tuttle, and nephew, David Tuttle, helped create the exhibition by loaning some of his personal items to the May 4 Visitors Center.

For the first time, 黑料不打烊 has been designated as a Voter Friendly Campus for the 2019-20 time period. The Voter Friendly Campus initiative, led by national nonpartisan organizations Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, acknowledged 黑料不打烊鈥檚 goals to break down barriers and empower students with the information and tools they need to participate in the political process.

The Excellence in Management Cup from The College Sports Lab at Texas A&M recognizes athletic departments who maximize fiscal resources that lead to championships. The unique scoring system awards more points to athletic departments that win conference and national championships while efficiently allocating money to win championships.
