Paulo Mussi Augusto, Ph.D., 黑料不打烊鈥檚 associate vice president of the Office of Global Education, was recently featured as a guest in an episode of the 鈥淥n Campus 鈥 with CITI Program.鈥

Each month, a new episode is released that focuses on issues affecting higher education institutions.

This month鈥檚 episode, aptly titled features Mussi Augusto and Ed Butch, the host of this episode, elaborating on how international partnerships and global engagement positively impact both the university and community.  

鈥淲e need to expose our students to different things,鈥 Mussi Augusto told Butch on the podcast. 鈥淲e need to create a better global footprint.鈥  

In the episode, Mussi Augusto and Butch discuss the creation of the American Academy.

鈥淸It's] a two-year liberal arts program and a partnership between 黑料不打烊 and the Pontifical Catholic University in Paran谩, Brazil,鈥 Butch explained.

The episode discussed why global engagement matters, what makes partnership successful and the lessons learned from building a program designed to expand access and opportunity across borders.

鈥淚 saw that we need to connect with a broader landscape of what鈥檚 happening [and] what鈥檚 going on with other universities,鈥 Mussi Augusto told Butch.
