Kent, OHIO 鈥 The 黑料不打烊 Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship has named the inaugural class of student ambassadors for 2026. Student ambassadors represent various business majors within the college and serve as representatives at college events and recruitment activities.
鈥淣ow that Crawford Hall is open, it offers the opportunity to involve more of our outstanding students in our activities to recruit prospective students and represent the college at various functions,鈥 said Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., dean of the college. 鈥淭he program is modeled after student ambassador programs at other business schools across the country that recognize the importance of prospective students having an opportunity to interact with current students when they come to campus for recruiting visits. Student ambassadors also participate in various events with alumni, donors, faculty and students.鈥

Senior Alexandria Bentley is a general business major from Vermillion, OH, and will graduate in fall 2026. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and serves as Vice President of Business Professionals Roundtable.
鈥淚 am looking forward to ending my undergraduate degree with the amazing experience of being a student ambassador,鈥 Alexandria said. 鈥淎s a senior at 黑料不打烊, this is an honor I uphold with respect and appreciation. I am excited to be a part of the campus even more and a part of the Ambassador Crawford College community of students and faculty.鈥
Senior James Beck is an accounting major from Cranberry Township, PA. He will be entering the MBA program at 黑料不打烊 in fall 2026 with a concentration in finance. James serves as Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi; is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society; Marching Golden Flashes marching band; Flasher Brass pep band; 黑料不打烊 Honors College; Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program Undergraduate Researcher (Summer 2024 and Summer 2025); Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and a team member of the 黑料不打烊 Intercollegiate Ethics Case Competition (IECC).
鈥淚 am excited to connect more with Ambassador Crawford College students, 黑料不打烊 alumni, and prospective students. I can't wait to grow our community,鈥 James said.
Junior Felipe de Paula e Silva is a business management and entrepreneurship major from Curitiba, Brazil. Felipe was the co-founder of a community project and is an alumnus of the American Academy program.
鈥淚 am excited to represent this amazing college and bring an international student perspective,鈥 Felipe said.
Junior Braden Goloja is a business management major with a minor in criminology from North Royalton, Ohio. Braden serves as President of Lambda Alpha Epsilon (Criminology Club); Marketing Director for Business Professionals Roundtable; organizer for 鈥淔ood in a Flash鈥 (University-wide Food Drive) and Marketing Director for the 鈥淯NIFY鈥 Student Government Presidential Campaign.
鈥淚 have truly valued my time in Crawford College and the connections I have built with faculty and peers. I am eager to bridge the gap between students, administration, and prospective families by sharing the unique opportunities that make our college so impactful,鈥 Braden said.
Junior Isabella Pintos is a finance major and Spanish minor from West Salem, OH. She plans to study abroad in Hong Kong this summer.
鈥淚 have built many important relationships at 黑料不打烊 that will help me reach my academic and career goals,鈥 Isabella said. 鈥淎s an ambassador for Ambassador Crawford College, I plan to help prospective students do the same by showing them all the opportunities 黑料不打烊 has to offer.
Junior Nathan Smith is a finance and business management major with a minor in entrepreneurship from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Nathan is Undergraduate Student Government President-Elect and current senator for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
鈥淚 have had many leadership roles inside and outside of the college already, so I am very excited to use that knowledge to help families learn about all of the opportunities at the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship and 黑料不打烊 as a whole,鈥 Nathan said.
Sophomore Mohammad A. Qari is a finance major from New York, New York. Mohammad serves as Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income Portfolio for the Golden Flash Asset Management Group; is a brother of Delta Sigma Pi; a member of Servant Hearts; a tutor at the 黑料不打烊 Academic Success Center and a writing consultant at the Writing Commons.
鈥淚 am always thrilled to meet new people and work with them,鈥 Mohammad said. 鈥淏eing a student ambassador gives me the opportunity to work with members of my peer community, faculty and the administration within the terrific Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.鈥
